Why not do some fun pranks to liven up April Fools Day! We have a simple list of fun ways to prank your kids and some your kids can use on a parent too!
Pranks for Parents to pull on their kids or for kids to prank their parents with (with some help from a sibling or parent).
- Put some food coloring drops in the bottom of their cereal bowl. When you pour the milk they will be surprised by the color.
- Put googly eyes on their favorite food in the fridge (or everything in the fridge if you have enough eyes)
- Draw faces on the Eggs or on their water bottles, or juice bottles.
- Tell the kids you made a ban of brownies and show them the pan. Cut out some capital letter "E's" and put them in the pan. They will groan but be laughing inside.
- Take some TP (if you have some to spare) or any paper - even newspaper, and put a little in the toes of their shoes. They will be surprised.
- Draw a tiny spider on a sheet of their TP on the roll. When they pull the paper they will jump.
- Cover the remote control sensor with clear tape and watch them try to change the channel. (If you have voice on your remote this may not work)
- Take the batteries out of the remotes, computer mouse, or other electronics they rely on.
- Make their favorite drink into Jello and serve it in their favorite glass. They will try to drink it and be surprised - then they can have a jello treat!
- Serve dinner for breakfast and/or breakfast for dinner.
- Find a big enough box you can hide in it. Get in the box, call your parent or kid to come help you, and when they come, pop out of the box. Make sure you just surprise your victim.Don't give them a heart attack!
- Take a pillow case and put balloons inside then place it in their bed.
Most importantly - do these in the spirit of fun. They are classics so they do work. They can also be used as inspiration!
